Evaluation Task 4: Who would be the audience for your media product?

The audience we are targeting for our film would be someone with the following characteristics:

• 15-18 year olds
• Youth
• British
• People who did riot (could learn from the film and change there ways as in the film the main character becomes a better person in the prison)

In general i think the target audience is quite specific in the world, because it is British youths. We dont believe that the film would become worldwide as the film is too low concept and the cinema releases would be very few, with them definitely not releasing globaly. However, in the British society the target audience is less specific as it is the majority of the youth that we are targetting in our audience.


There could also be a secondary market of people with  different characterists:

• Interested in today's soceity
• People who want to know about the rioters, as its from the rioters side of the story they will gain more knowlege what made them do it. Such as boredom.
• White liberals

This secondary market are less stereotypical for the  film. This would probably be an older audience who are interested in the different background of peoples lives. However, this market audience would be minority compared to the youths.
