The band that we create would be part of a small Independent record company such as Warp. It is a small budget video, with organic artists. The artists which are signed by Independent company's are normally quite organic bands such as 'The Flying Lotus' (below), signed by Warp Records. It would not be possible for a Small Indie Alternative band such as 'The Obscure' to be signed by a major record company. Normally the types of artists that are record companies such as Warner Bros are large names such as 'Biffy Clyro' 'Birdy' 'Muse' and 'Michael Buble'.
An Independent record label (or indie record label) is a record label operating without the funding of or outside the organizations of the major record labels. A great number of bands and musical acts begin on independent labels. This is a music video from a major record label:
